I must say, based on my experience with other consultants while I was working for “corporate” America, I was not very open-minded about Coleman Associates. To say the least, I was thinking “OK, here we go again”. My experience was that the consultants, who knew nothing about the business, would make recommendations for change that was not feasible or practical. And when they left, within weeks everything was back just the way it was.
However, with Coleman Associates by the end of the first week, I started thinking that “OK, maybe they know what they are doing”. Then I found out that the consultants had actually worked in the medical field and had actual experience working the different positions within a medical office. That really helped to sway my thinking and my “willingness” to get on-board with the changes.
As the various recommendations were put in place, I started to see a major difference in the whole office. The biggest difference that I personally witnessed was the effect on the patients. No longer were they waiting hours to be called in for their appointments – they were actually being called back within a few minutes of their appointment time. The whole office seemed to have a different vibe about it. It wasn’t haphazard anymore but was more calm and structured.
So……Coleman Associates, namely Dee Jolly and Harpreet Sanghera, won me over. They were very knowledgeable and made recommendations that made sense. Plus their personalities become contagious.
I would strongly recommend that any medical practice that is serious about improving the experience of their patients and improving the processes in the clinic should definitely bring Coleman Associates into their practice.
